Terms of use
Korta is a URL shortening service: short links, dynamic QR codes, anonymous statistics, a link-in-bio page and an API. By creating a link or an account you accept these terms.
Account
Sign-in is passwordless, through a magic link sent to your email address: you are responsible for the access to your mailbox and for the actions performed from your account. A valid address is required.
Plans and limits
The free plan allows up to 100 links; the premium plan (coming soon) will offer unlimited links and custom codes. Details are on the pricing page. Clearly abusive usage (abnormal volumes, aggressive automation) may be limited even within those caps.
Prohibited uses
It is forbidden to shorten links leading to, or used for:
- illegal content or content infringing third-party rights (including counterfeiting);
- phishing, fraud or impersonation;
- distributing malware, viruses or ransomware;
- unsolicited bulk messaging (spam) by email, SMS or comments;
- masking the final destination through redirect chains, or circumventing blocklists and our detection systems;
- hateful, violent or exploitative content;
- mass automated link creation outside the API and its limits.
Moderation
Every destination is scanned automatically (Google Web Risk) and any link can be publicly reported. We may deactivate or remove a link, and suspend an account, without notice, whenever a behavior harms the service or its users — even if it is not explicitly listed above. Third-party content
Destinations of shortened links are third-party content created by users: Korta does not edit them and cannot vouch for every one of them. You can always inspect a link before clicking.
Your data
Your links and their statistics belong to you. You can export them or delete your account — and all associated data — at any time from your settings.
Availability
The service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of availability or of statistics accuracy. Anonymous links expire automatically after a few hours.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account in case of violation of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute an amicable solution will be sought first; failing that, French courts will have jurisdiction.

These terms may change at any time; the version published on this page prevails. Last updated: July 2026.
